- 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment.
- 2In a large bowl, mash bananas until mostly smooth.
- 3Whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- 4Sprinkle flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon over the mixture. Fold together gently until just combined.
- 5Fold in chocolate chips or walnuts if desired.
- 6Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- 7Bake 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.
- 8Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer loaf to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
