Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

   Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

   In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is browned and onion is soft, about 6-8 minutes. Drain fat.

   Add garlic, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook 1 minute more. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and half the pickles. Mix well.

   Reduce heat to low and stir in 1 cup shredded cheese and the cream of mushroom soup until creamy.

   Spread beef mixture into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining pickles on top. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the top.

   Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, until tots are golden and crispy. Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup cheese, then bake 5 minutes more.

   Let cool 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions, extra pickles, or more cheese if desired. Serve hot.
