    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan or line with parchment paper.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

    In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

    Mix in yogurt (or sour cream) until smooth.

    Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
