    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

    In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons softened butter to form a crumbly streusel.

    In a large bowl, beat remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.

    Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt together in another bowl.

    In a third bowl, mix sour cream, milk, and 1/3 cup maple syrup.
