- 1Pat chicken wings dry and toss with buttermilk. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- 2In a shallow bowl, mix flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
- 3Coat each wing in seasoned flour, then dip back into buttermilk and dredge in flour again for a double coating.
- 4Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry wings in batches for 7-9 minutes until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 5Drain wings on a rack or paper towels. Toss hot wings with BBQ sauce to coat.
- 6Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot!
