This Easy Apple Dump Cake recipe is the ultimate fuss-free dessert. With just a handful of ingredients, you get a warm, gooey apple treat in under an hour!

Ingredients

2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, sliced thin or melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spread both cans of apple pie filling evenly in the dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apples, making sure to cover all the filling.

Arrange thin slices of butter (or drizzle melted butter) evenly across the cake mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top if using.
