    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

    Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water, 1-2 minutes less than package time. Drain and set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, mayonnaise or sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

    Stir in the drained tuna, frozen peas, and 1 cup cheddar cheese.

    Add the cooked noodles and gently fold to coat well.

    Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup cheddar cheese.
