- 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- 2Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water, 1-2 minutes less than package time. Drain and set aside.
- 3In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, mayonnaise or sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- 4Stir in the drained tuna, frozen peas, and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- 5Add the cooked noodles and gently fold to coat well.
- 6Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup cheddar cheese.
- 7In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Scatter evenly over casserole.
- 8Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
