- 1Pat chicken dry and pound to even thickness. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- 2Dredge each chicken breast in the seasoned flour, shaking off the excess.
- 3Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden. Remove to a plate.
- 4Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter, then add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
