Instructions
- 1Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a mixing bowl and let soak for 5 minutes.
- 2In a large bowl, gently mix soaked breadcrumbs, beef, pork, diced onion, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg until just combined.
- 3Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs (about 30-35) and place on a tray.
- 4Heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs in batches for about 5-7 minutes, turning to brown all sides. Set meatballs aside.
- 5Add remaining butter to the skillet, then stir in flour. Whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes until light golden.
- 6Gradually whisk in beef broth, scraping up brown bits. Add heavy cream, Worcestershire, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 7Return meatballs to skillet. Simmer on low for 10-12 minutes, spooning sauce over, until meatballs are cooked through and gravy is thick.
- 8Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy hot!
