- 1Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up meat, until browned (6-8 min). Drain fat.
- 2In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle relish, yellow mustard, vinegar, paprika, and garlic powder until smooth.
- 3Chop romaine, halve tomatoes, slice pickles and red onion, and prepare shredded carrots if using.
- 4In a large serving bowl, layer lettuce, cooked beef, tomatoes, cheddar, pickles, onion, and carrots.
- 5Drizzle with special sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Toss and serve immediately, or serve dressing on the side.
