    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sour cream, and eggs until smooth.

    Stir in the whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, 1 cup cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.

    Fold in the corn muffin mix and gently combine, careful not to overmix.
