- 1Warm milk to 110°F and combine with sugar and yeast. Let foam for 5-10 minutes.
- 2Add softened butter, egg, and salt. Mix, then add flour gradually until a soft, sticky dough forms.
- 3Knead dough for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- 4Punch down dough, divide into 12 portions, and shape each into a ball.
- 5Arrange balls in a greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover and let rise 30-40 minutes until puffy.
- 6Bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes until golden. Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
